Simply put: Eat as many burgers as my life allows me to eat without repeating locations. Why? Let's think about it this way...is there anything better than meat, bread, and cheese?
You begin with the bottom bun, then you place a burger patty, ground beef cooked to perfection, and hopefully oozing with greasy goodness, on the bun. On top of that there is cheese that immediately melts when contact is made with the burger. The cheese drips down the sides of the burger and onto the bottom bun. The top bun, covers the entire sandwich, trapping the burger and cheese inside, with the only way to freedom being through the mouth.
After exploring different outlets to track and publicize my endeavor, I have landed here. My very first blog. I will be blogging about each burger I come in contact with. I will include pictures, rubrics (utilizing Billy's Burger Scale), and descriptions for all of these burgers.
What is Billy's Burger Scale Rating? The BBSR rubric consists of seven different categories. The beef, the bun, the beef to bun ratio, and the presentation of the burger are all out of a possible four points. The cheese and the sear on the burger are out of a possible three points. And last, but no where near least, the overall taste of the burger is measured on a scale of five points. These seven categories are added up to a possible total of 27 points.
Join me on my journey to seek and devour out the perfect 27-point burger. The quest begins now.
